RaskRask

The Cashflow dashboard is split into four tabs: Dashboard & insights, Budgets, Recurring and Category rules. Switching tabs keeps you on the same page.

Alert banner

The banner at the top shows at most one item at a time:

  • Continue setup if you haven’t finished the six setup steps.
  • Uncategorised transactions if any still need a category.

When there’s nothing to do, the banner is hidden.

Dashboard & insights

  • Monthly snapshot: tiles for what came in, what went out and your net position this month.
  • Net trend: your net cashflow over time, with your average monthly net and how it compares with the same period before. Switch between 3 months, 6 months, 12 months and all time.
  • Recent activity: a table of your transactions. See the section below.
  • Spending breakdown: your top five spending categories and top four merchants for a month. Use the arrows to move between months.
  • Cashflow over time: income and spending by month, with your net position drawn over the top.
  • Manage my cashflow: shortcut tiles to budgets, recurring items, category rules, reviewing transactions and connecting accounts.
  • FAQs: answers to common questions.

Recent activity

  • Period tabs to change the date range.
  • Search by merchant or description.
  • Uncategorised chip to show only transactions that still need a category.
  • Filter to narrow by account, category, direction (money in or out), status and date range.
  • Export your filtered transactions as a CSV or Excel file.

Select any transaction to open its details. From there you can:

  • change its category
  • exclude it from your cashflow totals
  • add a note
  • match it with a transfer between your own accounts
  • split it across categories
  • create a rule from it so similar transactions are sorted automatically

Budgets, Recurring and Category rules

  • Budgets: set monthly targets for the categories you care about.
  • Recurring: find regular bills, subscriptions and income.
  • Category rules: create and manage rules using the guided Who / What / Why flow, with optional direction and extra keyword filters.

Accounts and entity attribution

Your connected accounts now live in Settings → Connections, under Cashflow data. There you can attribute an account to a trust, company or SMSF so its cashflow lands in the right tax bucket.
