RaskRask

Every Rask account must use multi-factor authentication (MFA). At your next login, Rask will ask you to verify a supported mobile number before you can enter the platform.

What is MFA?

MFA adds an extra layer of security to your account. Instead of just a password, you’ll confirm your sign-in with a unique code sent to your mobile phone. This ensures that even if someone discovers your password, they cannot access your account without your physical device.

How to set it up

  1. Sign in and verify your email address.
  2. On the required security step, choose Australia, New Zealand, United States, Canada or United Kingdom and enter an SMS-capable mobile number.
  3. Enter the SMS verification code.
  4. Sign in again and complete the new MFA challenge. Rask then opens the platform with a fully secured session.

Managing your MFA

  • One account phone: Rask supports exactly one active phone factor. Its verified number is also your Rask account phone number.
  • Changing numbers: Use Replace phone number in Security Settings. Rask verifies the new number before removing the old one, then asks you to sign in again.
  • Lost phone: Contact support. After confirming your support case, an authorised administrator can remove the inaccessible factor and revoke your sessions. The administrator cannot choose or verify your replacement number; you do that at your next login.

Tips for a smooth experience

  • Keep your phone handy: You’ll need it every time you log in from a new device or after your session expires.
  • Trusted devices: You won’t usually need to enter an MFA code every single time if you’re using the same browser and haven’t cleared your cookies.

Why this matters for access

Rask protects the whole authenticated platform behind three checks:

  • verified email
  • exactly one verified phone MFA factor
  • a current sign-in that completed the MFA challenge

There is no skip. If you cannot receive the SMS, use Can’t use SMS? Contact support on the security step.
